I really do hope that any one night stands you’ve had have been positive experiences. They CAN be something special!

THAT BEING SAID, I think it’s pretty commonly understood that although they might have their place, they aren’t the most fulfilling, especially if that’s all we’ve got going on.

I think that this is relevant not only when it comes to dating/sex, but when it comes to any kind of intimacy. I personally come up against it ALL THE TIME — I’m a deep relater! and I attend events and retreats throughout each year and I have these beautiful connections often with people who don’t live near me, and when we part ways, I often feel a tender sense of grief (amidst the gratitude) for the fleeting quality of the connection.

Whether its the grief that follows the goodbye after a one-off connection, or an unfulfilling (energy-wasting) surface level social interaction, I find myself wanting to welcome + prioritize connections that are both deep and consistent.

My own interests in relationship OF COURSE is part of my inspiration for creating intimate containers for steady, sustained connection and support.

Enter: Reverence In Motion

In just a few weeks (Fall Equinox!) I’m gathering 6 women to journey together for 3 months. We meet every other Sunday in person. 2/3 of the way through the Fall there will be a group medicine journey weekend.

Our Sunday sessions will be a grounding, inspiring and comforting anchor for you — a touchpoint with yourself and your sweet circle as you navigate the waters of your life.

The journey, for most, will be unlike anything you’ve experienced before, as it’s far more common that when you go to a group journey you’re in a space with people you’ve never met before. Here, you’ll be exploring your inner landscape surrounded by a collective with whom you’ve cultivated warmth, trust and safety with over time.

The theme of the group: Reverence In Motion, is rooted in an intention to cultivate a more meaningful and sacred experience as we navigate our day-to-day life.

Honestly: I wish I could put this all more properly into words, but it’s always hard to articulate the sacred.

There really are no words to describe what was created here. Mari was magician of depth, delight and sacred ritual, allowing each of us to feel safe and at the same time supported in discovering new awarenesses about ourselves and our lives.

I truly feel different as a person than when I began: more open, embodied and dancing with life, allowing each moment to unfold with more ease and alignment. The regular meetings before the journey let us all get to know each other and also focus on issues like self-care, centering and breath, that became essential grounding touchstones for the journey itself.

The collective experience beforehand also made the journey have a a larger healing impact for me, as It felt like we were all holding each other in and benefiting from each other's journeys as well as our own. The fact that we were also able to meet afterward for several sessions to integrate has also given me more and more of a chance to ensure that this 'journey' was more than just a one-time experience, but has had the very real opportunity to change my whole life and way of being in it.
