Dear Community, This past Spring, I held my first ever group container. (IRL of course cuz that’s how I roll). It was my favorite thing I’ve ever created. Listen, we all want and need connection. A lot of us feel like we want more than we are getting. I read articles about THE LONELINESS EPIDEMIC, I talk to clients and friends about the textures of our lives and our resonant desire for depth and intimacy and belonging. We are often alone, glued to our devices, taking in content made by other people probably also hanging out alone as they put their content out into the world. (I’m sitting alone at a coffee shop in Woodstock, NY right now!) Over the years I’ve attended hundreds of epic one-off events, and over the past few years I’ve hosted maybe a couple dozen intimate gatherings myself. One-off events are beautiful and I love them — but they don’t hit the spot all the time. Sometimes they do and so it’s def worth getting out there when we can, but often enough I come home thinking “meh I could’ve stayed home tonight”. SO WHAT IS IT THAT I WASN’T GETTING?!?!?! Well —for me — it can often be the fleeting nature of the connections with others that isn’t hitting the spot all the time. I want to grow and deepen relationships over time. AND SO… This past Spring, I invited a small group of women into my living room (and my heart) as we traveled through the season of blossoming flowers together and grew tendrils of love and care between us that are far from fleeting and only growing deeper. We met every other Sunday evening for an intimate circle in my living room, before a potent and magical medicine ceremony weekend. The richness of journeying surrounded by women with whom you’ve cultivated connection and care for months! Precious. The container came to an official close on the summer solstice, but no one wanted it to end (!!!), so we’ve extended our journey together for at least another 6 months of meeting regularly, because the love and connection has been so rich. SPOILER ALERT: This is a marketing email 😂 — because I’m doing it again, this Fall.
