Dear Humans ♡

Last night I hosted a circle in my living room for folks who lost their homes in the fires.

It was, of course, tender and heartfelt. There was depth, openness and intimacy.

These are the qualities I love to feel in connection with others.

It’s been a few years now since I started hosting circles in my backyard. Last night was only my second circle in my living room.

I can feel an energetic shift happening in what I want to host and how I want to hold groups - that is metaphorically mirrored with the circles transitioning from being outdoors to being inside.

Of course I love being outside, but being inside can offer a quality of containment - the walls of the house holding and protecting what’s occurring within.

One reason I haven’t hosted inside circles before is because my living room is pretty small and isn’t shaped for a perfect circle. Sorry perfectionism, but you were getting in the way and I’m glad to be releasing you even more. I like doing things differently anyway.

As I play with new shapes within myself and what I create, what’s alive in me is a desire for deeper intimacy in the form of MORE CONSISTENCY.

I have attended soooo many one-off events and retreats and trainings and workshops through the years and I often meet these amazing people that I adore, we have these big experiences together and then part ways.

As much as I love to connect and go deep with people, sometimes it feels a bit tiresome/draining to yet again meet new people, build safety and connection as quickly as we can, share in the experience together, and then say goodbye.

Amidst all the one-off events, I crave more consistent connection in group space so deeper intimacy can open up over time.

AND SO

this is one of the factors that has led me to create this:

✨REVERENCE IN MOTION✨

A 3 month IRL container for 7 women (8 including me!) to gather biweekly on Sunday evenings, build our connection over time, and share in a process of bringing more reverence into different areas of our lives as we move through the season of Rebirth.

It turns out, that Sunday evening is a very sweet time of the week for a gentle gathering. On the eves of #FreshStartMonday, these Sunday Sessions will be nourishing, grounding and inspiring.

2/3 the way through the container, there will be a group medicine journey weekend (a Friday evening, Saturday day, Sunday morning affair).

What a super special weekend that will be, with the connection that we will cultivate for 2 months prior through Sunday IRL sessions, a whatsapp group, and a couple book club zoom calls.

In other news, I’m just a few days out of one of the biggest journeys of my life. Unlike so many other experiences, I cannot and I dare not form a spiel to deliver on what that journey was for me, because it’s very much living and becoming. Rarely does an experience render me quasi mute, but these have been some quieter days tending to the little sprouts that are healthily emerging from the dark and rich soil of pain deeply felt.
