The last time I wrote you was February 2nd, as I was shooting my last public shot to invite you to join me for a month of refining your tech habits with me as your accountability buddy.

So, It worked! (for me)

I committed to no-phone-in-the-bedroom and no-social-media for all of Feb — IT WENT GREAT.

It’s sad but if my phone is with me in my bedroom, I literally just won’t read my book. But I’m happy to say I’m fully in it — I’m reading the Throne Of Glass series and loving it // #fantasy #fae #IAm__AndIWontBeAfraid //

My phone is DEFINITELY not coming back into the bedroom anytime soon, and yes OF COURSE I’ve been swallowed whole a few times by instagram-on-my-computer because that’s what instagram does best! but glad to be there very little…

AND NOW:

We’ve just crossed the threshold into #MyFavoriteSeason…

Of course, if you’re here with me in LA, we’re a little fucked up right now — we ended “Winter” with weeks of summer weather so the transition into Spring doesn’t mean much…but I’m REALLY loving the more-evening-daylight for my evening walks (and the springtime flowers)

ON THE TOPIC OF EVENING WALKS:

I’ve learned over the past year HOW important my evening neighborhood walks are for me. Although I really love warm weather, I also don’t really like being in bright sun (Yes, I am complicated)…

While the morning-people are winding down in the evenings, I get a burst of energy and love being outside moving my body.

One change I’ve made in the past month to HONOR MY NEEDS is I’ve changed my availability for sessions — those later daylight hours are now protected, and I have an 8pm slot available because you guys MAY know from previous emails how much I ADORE #SessionsAfterDark. I personally think it’s the best time to receive bodywork, right before bedtime. and I love giving sessions in the after-dark evening too. Less Screentime, More Connection.

I’m quietly pouring my creative fire into my love affair with my newest project, Quiet Altar — the site has gone through several renditions already and is absolutely not where it’s going to land later…so the amount of creative energy I feel pulsing around this offering/project is still “unseen to the internet” until later… but I’m just so HAPPY AND EXCITED to have this new offering.

It was a missing piece in my ecosystem — something that got me out of the house and moving my body and assisting people in creating a home environment that feels spacious and supportive as the ceremony of life continues to unfold…
