Wow. this has been a very full week for me.

I:

• worked with 3 Quiet Altar decluttering clients in San Francisco

• went to a very special private retreat on the Mendocino coast where I rung in my 40th birthday in ceremony with 20 beautiful peers

• hosted my parents at my house on their way back from Maui

• got really stressed about finding a subletter for my impending 3-month east coast stint and then was cosmically connected with my DREAM subletter via an instagram post

• this morning I offered a Sacrum Belly Breath session and I simply cannot be more obsessed.

Let’s unpack.

Therapeutic Decluttering

My first bay area Quiet Altar client was a tender and gorgeous one. The client lost her wife of 35 years one year ago to the day before our decluttering session. They had lived together in that house for 30 years, and she hadn’t touched a thing since her wife died. She needed support to begin the process of creating space for a new chapter of being on her own.

We worked on her office where none of her wife’s belongings were, as that was the least emotional place to open it up. That was such a smart move on her part, to ease in gently. We made a HUGE impact on the space, built a fresh altar, and a few days later I received a text saying that she was able to go through her late wife’s closet and get rid of most of her belongings, which felt good, and she was grateful.

It’s amazing what receiving some support can do to help someone open up a process that’s ready to happen.

Retreat Playground Workshop Birthing Portal

I absolutely loved celebrating my birthday in nature, sitting in circles and laying in “puppy piles” of fellow ceremonialists gathered to connect in kinship and mutual inspiration.

We had been invited to offer our gifts, and I chose to offer a workshop called Relating To Your Home As A Sacred Space.

I had intended to prepare for it for weeks, but ultimately just winged it in the moment. It was so fun to experience ease in improv creation, and everyone left inspired.

I hope to create some structure around the workshop and bring it into public spaces officially. I am grateful for this group for being such a soft entry point into a new creation.

So much tenderness around my parents aging. It was such a gift to host them, cook for them, love up on them, and periodically get annoyed with them for no good reason other than that my inner teenager remains alive and well ;). Grateful for our time together.

Subletter Of My Dreams.

Straight up? I’m shook.

First I posted on The Listing Project, full of hope, and got only one response. A couple with a three year old. Honestly: having a 3 year old roaming around my sacred space wasn’t ideal for me. But I started to get worried cuz I wasn’t getting any other hits!

So I took it to instagram where I have a very small reach, and posted a bunch of pics of my place with an ask that people repost. WOW. THANK YOU to everyone that reposted!!!

MAGIC UNFOLDED and I am in true awe. I cannot have imagined a better fitting subletter. A fellow spaceholder that exudes reverence, presence, attunement and care. We met this morning, and it was an instant mutual yes.

I said “You are literally my dream subletter”. She said “Are you kidding me? This is literally my dream home”.

Several people have asked me “when are you moving out???” with interest to take over my place when I leave LA, and I’ve been *a bit* territorial. Like thank you for your interest but please step back I ain’t ready for that.

and upon meeting this sweetheart, I thought “this is exactly the type of person I want to move in after me” — so in one go, I found myself a subletter, and she may have found herself a long term home just by being who she is.

SBB Strikes again

I received this text from my client after she left after her Sacrum Belly Breath session. That was my 7th time sharing this new offering, and I’m so starry eyed and filled with warmth around it.

I look forward to finding someone who can offer ME this session cuz DAMN it looks GOOD.

• 20 minutes of active breathwork

• 20 minute sacral hold

• 20 min abdominal massage

• time before + after for spacious transitions

The way I am describing it:

“The breathwork shakes up the snowglobe. The sacral hold offers gentle support as the snow takes its time softly landing. The snow is now loosened, and then belly touch comes in and gently moves energy along that has been ready to flow”.

I’ve gotten beautiful feedback from every session, and I look forward to offering you a sessoin if you feel called. :) ♡
